Where The Hell Is My Lover?
This season the Barbies have been scouring the globe for that special someone… we found YOU! Thank you for joining us for close harmonies, terrible jokes and chilled vibes as we sang about romance, roads and rings. Now take home a Barberfella! Why not get yourself a copy of the Barberfellas 2027 calendar? It raises funds for our charity partner Safe Only CIC and is sure to bring a smile to your face throughout the year.
This concert featured our special guests Rebelle Voices. Rebelle Voices is a London based choir for LGBTQ+ women, trans and non-binary people. They are a non-auditioning, fun and friendly choir whose focus is to perform upper voice repertoire to a high standard, enjoy singing together as a community and provide a safe space to promote visibility through performance and activism. They have performed at various Prides, such as Brighton Trans Pride, Middlesex Pride and Camden Pride, sung at the Saatchi gallery, the LGBTQ Community Center, Hand In Hand festival in Bristol and hosted their own gigs at The Two Brewers in Clapham.
Our charity partner this year is Safe Only CIC. Safe Only is a queer-led, not-for-profit collective providing professional, inclusive, and trauma-informed security and welfare services for LGBTQIA+ and broader nightlife and cultural settings. Founded in response to the frequent mistreatment of queer individuals by traditional security providers — such as misgendering, aggressive searching, and cultural insensitivity — their mission is to create safer nightlife spaces by embedding community, compassion, and harm reduction into every aspect of their work. Safe Only was launched in 2022 by queer individuals who experienced first hand how mainstream security approaches often failed to protect—and sometimes actively harmed—queer people. What began as a small group of three has grown into a collective of over 60 SIA-licensed security professionals, welfare officers, medics, and consultants.
